Pros

Pay better than minimum wage. Taking home left over samples.

Cons

No pay raises given. Admin Time that you never get paid for. Expected to check email and schedule daily with no compensation. (Admin Time) Expected to be available 24/7 to work; doesn't matter if it is day, night, or major holiday. Expected to be available to work even if you are not scheduled to work and expected not to make any type of personal plans on days that are left open on schedule. Expected to be available to work other stores and lose 40 miles off gas mileage expense. (First 20 and last 20 miles) Having to many items on Demo and not being able to do demo correctly due to large item amounts. Being denied demos as a means of punishment when you need a day off or call in sick. Expected to work when you are sick, even though it is a food safety valuation and goes against company policy. Policies changing with out notice and with no explanation. Company operating in the gray area's of the law. Even though we are not Independent Contractors or Statutory Employees, company will not take out the proper taxes from your pay check. (Something the IRS needs to check into) Working major Holidays and not being paid time an a half.(Does not matter if you are FT or PT, it interrupts your family life) Supervisors who will not take the time to answer questions when emailed or act rude by phone when you ask questions. Supervisors that don't take time to visit stores at least once a month.(Not fulfilling their job duties) Supervisors who don't care about quality of demo as long as they are 100% and like good to company. Forged reports and numbers to make demo's look good. Poor quality work environment.

Pros

Great company. Although laid off, we did get a severance package. Good PTO and flexibility.

Cons

I would suggest seeing if other positions within the company would be a good fit before laying off your good employees with no other options to keep them with the company.

Pros

There are pockets of talent and smarts on the creative side of the business, and I absolutely adored my immediate coworkers and my manager.

Cons

Senior leadership is an absolute mess. They will get us all together for these pep rallies, demand we “AMP IT UP”, then turn around and screw us mercilessly when it comes to raises, bonuses and job security. There is also quite a bit of platonic nepotism happening on the creative end of the business, with people who lend no real value to the work sitting at the very top of the creative pyramid solely because of their relationship to senior leaders. These people are being carried on the shoulders of their creative directors and ACDs, who are all criminally underpaid and under appreciated. With round after round of layoffs, no new wins, and leaders who demand high energy, long hours, and good attitudes at all times, I would strongly advise creatives to steer clear of this train wreck of an agency.
