Good People but Not Enough Support - Key Account Manager (KAM) Advantech Employee Review

Takes 1-3 months to get samples out to customer, essentially sucking the life out of new opportunities. Training is non-existent. It's very much a sink or swim type of sales system. If you aren't a great self-starter, it won't be for you. They WILL NOT tell you what you need to do. They have a million acronyms for services and positions that changes frequently so make sure you put together an Excel spreadsheet to keep track. Pricing is a bit higher with Advantech so you need to find better ways to show value.
