Pros

Large teaching hospital looks good on resume, lots of career opportunities

Cons

Management cuts every possible corner to save a buck, jeopardizing patient safety and leading to unsafe working conditions. I've witness several instances of poor patient care, and injuries to patients and staff merely due to understaffing. Nurses are stretched too thin. The high burnout and turnover rate is a glaring indicator of the changes needed in staffing this hospital. Management simply does not seem to care. These issues are addressed repeatedly, yet nothing is ever done.

Pros

flexible work schedule and location (remote-flexible), great benefits, not micromanaging, great networking opportunities, supportive management

Cons

Not a lot of structure, rapid growth creates a lot of stressors, training process being figured out in real time.

Pros

Decent pay, but doesn't make up for how you are treated

Cons

All they care about is money. Doesn't matter how physicans or surgeons treat you. If you get fed up and finally defend yourself you are the one who is made to look bad. For a religious place and what their service standards are.. it goes against everything that actually happens. No accountability. Bad nurses are able to stick around while good ones get pushed out.
