Pros

Great people, free parking, generous PTO, pretty good benefits overall.

Cons

Pay is below market. You're expected to do anything they ask you, even if it means working a ton of extra hours (for exempt employees). You get so overwhelmed with "busy work" that you can't focus on your strategic priorities. You can't ever say "no." The answer is always "find a way to make it happen." But you can't hire more people. Sometimes you can outsource work, but then they are always crying that there is not enough money. They need to bit the bullet and either hire more people to do the work, or realize that not everything can get done, especially if they want the focus to be on strategic/important items rather than low-level stuff that takes a ton of time.

Pros

I worked with Advent Health back in 2003, At Sunbelt, Across from Florida Hospital on Rollins before the expansion and the current car garage was built. My Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehab was there in that location before the expiration, Advent was a wonderful company to work for, and when I had to separate from them it was very hard to do, I loved my work with the peoplel and the patients.

Cons

It was hard to work in a older facility that was not as up to date as many of the others. Even though we were right next to Florida Hospital and we were their immediate rehab facility of discharge choice, especially when there was respiratory therapy involved.
