Pros
Great environment to work in. Most of the employees are nice and there is a sense of "family" among everyone. Decent medical benefit and generous PTO. Since it's an Seventh Day Adventist hospital, most administrative departments are let out early on Friday. Free parking which is a big deal if you're working so close to DTLA. Metro Gold Line station is right behind hospital so it's easy for those who take the commuter train. Company really tries its best to make its employees happy.
Cons
It is a non-profit organization so there is all the negative aspects that comes with working with a limited budget. Also, it is a Christian-faith based hospital so it is more conservative than what we are use to in Los Angeles, or at start-ups. It has never been a problem for me though. Company doesn't try to shove their conservative views down your throat or anything.
