*oversaturated market in target industries, can be difficult for new recruiters to build a pipeline *cold calls/ texts are expected to be made but aren't effective/ outdated but management anticipates the more dials made the more deals will be closed. however, dialing the same people over and over leads to more candidates unsubscribing to communications and lost opportunities *many employees have been let go, naturally makes remaining staff on edge
