Pros
Good stepping stone for recruiting. Seemed like the coolest job at the very beginning.
Cons
1. Extreme Micromanagement 2. No work like balance 3. Everyone is pretty unprofessional Aerotek is a good place to start if you are completely new to recruiting but its important that everyone realizes they can do much better after they gain some experience. I dealt with a pretty unprofessional AM who constantly overworked us, cursed at us, called us names, made inappropriate jokes. I tolerated it to get the best of my recruiting experience and left the second i got a much better offer. Please be ready to constantly work. Weekends are often expected and you'll be constantly asked to work weekends and sometimes evenings. They started to change their comp toward the end of my time there, about 16 other recruiters left around the same time- including a few directors. They are all about the numbers- they talk as if they're not but at the end of the day, they don't care about anything else. Be prepared for that.
