Pros
Culture is incredibly flat. Art major led their ME department for a while--and was brilliant. Pedigree is irrelevant, ability to do and lead are held in high regard, but the unique thing about AEI is that chest beating is verboten. Also, their workload is global and challenging. Office HVAC design will soon be done by a robot--AEI is way beyond that.
Cons
Thought they say they have an 'on-barding' program it is pretty much luck of the draw--who/what project you are assigned to. Fortunately, their staff has zero toxicity and their projects are all pretty challenging.
