Pros
The cubicle is pretty big if you really enjoy having your own space. A lot of free nuts in the kitchen, free coffee...you get a backpack. You can move up fairly fast, but only because the good people get annoyed and leave.
Cons
Poor management, my boss has no idea what I do on a daily basis. Very poor communication from the C-Suite. Two departments were recently completely restructured and given different titles and different clients. No one had any idea clients were being shuffled around. Since I've been here...less than 6 months...I've seen 4 people get fired. Even though it's a digital marketing company, the knowledge basis for what that is exactly is extremely limited. You should know what you are selling. Super cliquey and client care is beyond loud. They goof off most of the time, from literally running around like children to making weird voices. I was on a phone call and the person on the other line thought I was at a party and asked if they should call me back later.....not okay. Departments don't talk to each other. No one is friendly when passing in the hallway or being in the kitchen. it's awkward. No real training for the newbies. No structure of how to on board new employees properly. I got very frustrated when I started cause I was given ZERO direction on processes. The four companies that merged a year ago still behave as if they are 4 companies. Everyone has a different way of doing things and they are acquiring a 5th company....don't see that going smoothly. They have unlimited PTO which is a norm in the digital place, but they are getting rid of it in Jan cause management doesn't trust it's employees not to abuse it.
