Pros
Remote work. Working with the creative team. Coming up with campaign strategies.
Cons
Poor leadership in this department: 1. The managers expect you to work past business hours (I was an hourly employee) 2. The one time I told one of the managers that I couldn't stay after biz hours to work on a file due to a personal obligation, he hung up on me then proceeded to chat me and write "Clear your schedule this week. I need you to be available after 6pm" (Again, I was HOURLY). 3. I was told from the same manager that "Work is my obligation" after I reiterated that I had a personal obligation and couldn't stay past 6pm to work on the file (I ended up staying to complete that task, and NEVER got a verbal thank you). 3. One of the managers micro-managed my time. Would check my time punches and "status" in teams chat. 4. Was talked down to by one of the managers when I inquired about a raise and my workload. 5. As the agency acquired more stores, there were more and more orders to fulfill on a weekly basis..to the point where I would be working through backlogs. Both of my managers knew about the growing workload, but put hiring help for me on the backburner. 6. The pay. The managers wanted to treat this position like it was salaried. Their expectations for getting work done after hours and the growing workload does not match the hourly rate.
