Lots and lots of interoffice politics - an executive team (with some people that are clearly on their way out) with limited strategic direction combined with tons of young people in a loosely defined org structure leads to a lot of politics.
Engineering focused - Affirm is a financial company, but has a huge emphasis from the top on engineering and sometimes makes the rest of the employees feel like second class citizens.
The downside to the above pro of great work-life balance is that there are a small portion of the Company that ends up doing an out-sized portion of the work with little to no recognition.
