Not as good as it seemed - Recruiter Affirm Employee Review

too many managers with little to no experience were promoted during the hyper growth. they had and still have no idea what they're doing. unfair wages across teams. saw this in the offers i gave out and internal comparators on my own team. there were male recruiters getting paid way more than female recruiters with way more experience. they claim to care about equity but did not see this being practiced. i was once was told to give an offer to a female engineer 20K less than what I had given another male candidate 2 weeks prior despite the two having very similar backgrounds. i had to constantly argue to try to get equitable offers for my female candidates. theres alot of micro managing. they would have 4 leads and 5 ICs working on one project that should really only take 1 person a week to complete. alot of favoritism going around the TA team. managers wont ask for volunteers for new exciting projects and responsibilities. they will just assign it to their favorite buddy
