      Pros

      AFLAC had a great culture, striving to make work more fun and provided excellent sales training. Employees willing to help and work with you.

      Cons

      Cold calling can be the entire job for a long time, makes the work tiring. Treated as an independent contractor has its benefits but mainly is frustrating.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
