      Pros

      Was probably a really good company to work for, years ago. The only current pro is that you make your own schedule and hours.

      Cons

      Like a pyramid scheme. The many management layers above you make all the money. Way, way too many Aflac reps. Their schtick is all built around motivating the young, gullible reps to make the folks at the top of the food chain all the $$.

      Build your own business. Equal work, family life.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
