      Pros

      Aflac allows you to have a very flexible schedule and provides you with sales leads

      Cons

      It is a purely commission based job with very little opportunity for upward movement within the company. It does not have a high retention rate for employees

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
