Pros

Encourages work/life balance. Has great extra benefit packages such as pet insurance, infertility assistance, Online provider services. Leadership is very involved with the day-to-day employee concerns or questions, and they are quick to respond. They have a dedicated education department. Agape Care has a strong DE&I committee with team members from across the company that work diligently to ensure equality and inclusion with our employees, patients and families. Agape has an excellent orientation process with a preceptor program and follow up to ensure effective new hire training.

Cons

Recent growth in the company has increased open positions in some areas. This has increased some of the workload. Recruiting is currently posting for those positions. Communication can be tricky with the new growth and timely integration of technology for new offices. Leadership in these areas are quick to respond to any situation the growth has been quick.

Pros

The field staff love hospice and care so much about the work they do every day. But they have no clinical or leadership support.

Cons

Inexperienced clinical leadership and director of operations. Favoritism. Unequal caseloads. Retaliation when productivity not met. Retaliation by leadership when needing to call out sick. High caseload. Poor work life balance. Senior/corporate leadership do not take field staff concerns seriously. HR does not take field staff concerns seriously. Director is not knowledgeable in hospice care and there are frequent service failures. AVP / CEO / HR did not act expeditiously to several complaints regarding branch leadership. Branch needs a clean out and a lot of TLC.
