      Pros

      There is some flexibility in your day. The team is wonderful. The work is fulfilling.

      Cons

      Upper level management micromanage and will treat you like you’re lazy regardless of how hard you work. Nothing is ever enough and they fight not to compensate you for things done while on call. They want you to go above and beyond without compensation while the ceo does minimal and makes hundreds of thousands per year, CMS gave hospice a raise last year and they tried so hard not to provide even a cost of living raise to the front line employees.

      Pros

      The field staff love hospice and care so much about the work they do every day. But they have no clinical or leadership support.

      Cons

      Inexperienced clinical leadership and director of operations. Favoritism. Unequal caseloads. Retaliation when productivity not met. Retaliation by leadership when needing to call out sick. High caseload. Poor work life balance. Senior/corporate leadership do not take field staff concerns seriously. HR does not take field staff concerns seriously. Director is not knowledgeable in hospice care and there are frequent service failures. AVP / CEO / HR did not act expeditiously to several complaints regarding branch leadership. Branch needs a clean out and a lot of TLC.
