Pros

I started with an amazing manager who provided clarity, direction, and genuine support. Under that leadership, I performed strongly and delivered meaningful work and results. The projects were engaging, and my colleagues were clearly all talented, collaborative, and dedicated to outputting good work.

Cons

After my original manager left, guidance and structure disappeared. I was constantly pulled between two competing areas with shifting priorities and little feedback. Whenever I asked for feedback, I was told to "keep doing what I was doing". Soon afterwards, I was blindsided with a negative performance review, without any prior warning or constructive feedback. Leadership communication was virtually nonexistent, with no clear expectations given. I was let go shortly after delivering a major client impacting analysis, which felt calculated and incredibly disrespectful.

Pros

Plenty of opportunities to move up. Staff quick to recognize skill and praise/reward.

Cons

You're talking to customers on their WORST DAY. Sometimes they're pissed and it comes out at you.

Pros

Offers Work from home, most everyone is willing to help when you have a question.

Cons

Some mangers need to really reflect. You can tell they are just in the spot because it needed to be filled. If you are not careful and really monitor what you are getting marked off by from QA that can hinder you. You MUST review what you have been marked off on. HIGHLY recommend you do this. The shifts change every 6 months so if you want/need a second job throw that idea out of the window. And unless you are the “top dog” you will have options for to pick from however you may not get your main pick so keep that in mind. Low pay, if you are a single person trying to manage a house hold I don’t recommend but it can be done. More so if you have children and no other form of income.
