If I could offer one piece of advice: never leave a position you enjoy—even if another opportunity offers more money. In hindsight, I wish I had followed the lead of several senior reps who chose to stay put. I accepted a role in a different department that didn’t align with my strengths or interests, and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to return to my original position in roadside assistance. I was a good employee, I met company metrics, received good reviews from customers, I was reliable, but despite applying several times since I left, I haven’t received a response. It’s a lesson I carry with me: job satisfaction and fit matter more than a title or a pay bump.
