Pros
There is a huge focus on professional development at Agile IT. The management is constantly encouraging you to learn more, broaden your horizons, and expand your skill set. Tons of training is provided, both inside and outside of working hours. The company is on the cutting edge of cloud computing – the CEO is a literal genius, and being a part of his vision is really inspiring. His vision also includes things like “mini-drone races in the hallway” and “free team lunches”, so that’s a definite plus. There is a pretty solid benefits package – paid time off, holidays, good health insurance, and definitely great opportunities to advance within the company. Agile IT is also generous with providing raises and bonuses. Agile IT is a very understanding employer – when I had a family emergency last year, they were incredibly accommodating and wonderful. It was really nice to be able to attend to my family and not worry about what it would be like to come back to work.
Cons
The learning curve is definitely steep, which can be stressful. But again, there’s some great training provided, so I don’t know if that’s really a con. I keep asking for a rock climbing gym to be added to our office, and that hasn’t happened yet… I guess that’s a con?
