Pros
It is an emerging industry, and they found a way to keep afloat after the pandemic. They keep getting positive attention from investors.
Cons
Unfortunately, even before the pandemic, keeping the investors happy is what drives the company and that means you will be in a company that is investor centric, not employee centric. This can create a toxic environment for some. In particular because, at least in the USA, many managers are not trained to be managers, they just moved up thanks to friendships from previous workplaces. If your job becomes too expensive here, then it will be sent to India, which makes job security not realistic in any way. They have a very old view of employees being little more than replaceable line workers. As long as the company is well financially, all is well - regardless of how toxic the place may be. As for diversity, the place is full of micro aggression towards some employees and they are not aware of it, in part, because they don't care to know. However notice how the top leaders of the company has been male-dominated for years, not unlike most other tech companies stuck in their old ways.
