Pros

The new Vice President of STAY PMS has brought a completely fresh environment with a focus on strong team architecture, deeper and detailed technical analysis for optimal solutions, and a bold/aggressive to take right decision, customer-centric decision-making style. This leadership has shed light on the contributions of the Chennai team, which had previously gone unnoticed due to various invalid reasons. Each release includes surprising innovations and well-thought-out features that support multiple customers without negative impact. Collaboration with multiple 3rd parties has also helped identify and validate optimal designs, considering varied product requirements.

Cons

Release process is a significant concern. Valuable future-focused work is often blocked by few leaders who hold authority but lack detailed product knowledge and are driven by personal credit rather than product success. There are cases where customer issues, even when fixed the same day, take up to three months to go live

Pros

The interview process was smooth, well-organized, and professionally conducted. I appreciated the timely updates after each stage. Overall, it was a positive and seamless experience.

Cons

The overall timeline of the interview process was slightly extended—possibly due to delays in client confirmations or internal approvals. If feasible, streamlining this aspect could enhance the candidate experience further.

Pros

People below the senior manager level are great to work with and are dedicated to customers.

Cons

Senior managers and above are political “yes men” to the CEO who frequently screams at people publicly and on Teams meetings and makes cutting, derisive comments regarding the work people do — even those that put in many hours on the company’s behalf. He frequently complains that he is the only one who is smart enough and dedicated enough to identify and solve problems. His vision is limited to an intense engineering focus, with the answer to every challenge being to “hire more engineers.” This has begun to hold the company back and is reflected in the dropping stock price.
