Travel to minesite is long, 3 hrs by plane and 2hrs by bus. Bus ride times are doubled if caribou are near. Job is very monotonous, not much time or opportunity to do trainings or learn new things, standing for most of day bad for back. Promotions and permanent roles are highly competitive, possible preference for francophones.
