Pros
• The company vision and growth plan • The transparency to company goals and key initiatives • Your colleagues- I have never worked with kinder, nicer, or as caring people • A learning organization - they will continue to make you learn •Amazing product •Best engineering team- never worked at a company that accomplishes so much with each weekly release plus fixes bugs super fast •Good pay and benefits- they believe in giving back to the employees •Remote work- work from anywhere •Twice a year onsites at destination locations (super fun plus we even do volunteering at charities at these onsites) •Probably a lot more but these are top of mind
Cons
• Work hard - if you are use to taking off during work day and going out to lunches and running errands and having lots of free time- this is not the job for you. Yes- you can schedule in advance if you need to do something and block your calendar but you will be busy working here and will not have tons of free time. • As a former product manager switching to Customer Success- this role may not be for everyone. You need to enjoy helping and working with customers as that is primarily what we do. If you prefer acting as the CEO and making decisions for your product, then stay a product manager as you may not enjoy being in customer success (although you get to work with product managers every day).
