Pros
Self-funded bootstrapped business model, and not tied to investors, which creates a stable environment in a very unstable economy. 5+ week onboarding program, where new employees are given a foundation and set up for success. Thoughtful interview process, which includes a meeting with the co-founder - to me, this showed the level of care and dedication the co-founders continue to have in the growing team. Skilled team members who are also kind humans. 100% remote with zero travel required. Only travel are 2x per year company “onsites” where the entire company gets together for a week to connect in-person. Transparency with weekly all-hands meetings to discuss company metrics and departmental updates.
Cons
After working for Aha! over the last 8 months, I can truthfully say that this is the best company I have ever worked for to date. The only con I can think of is that the PTO policy does not include separate sick time, which I am hoping will be reconsidered over time to show the value the company puts into the health and well being of their team members. Otherwise, an amazing and stable place to work, with a highly respected software product in the industry. I’m excited to be a part of Aha!s journey, and to continue to add value!
