Pros

TSP matching and leave accrual are great! GS-levels for most full-time Air Guard positions are generally higher than their equivalents within other service branches. Plus it's always great to wear the uniform and serve your country, but have the knowledge that you aren't going to have to move every 3 years.

Cons

As a full-time guardsmen, you will become riddled with additional duties. It gets old after a while, and can end up consuming your daily work activities if you end up being good at them, despite the role you were actually hired to do. In my experience, the block in my job description that was written "and other duties as assigned" became almost my entire job.
