Pros

I have made more more each year I've been with the company. They give you authority to make decisions and take charge to satisfy the customer. Clear set of objectives they expect you to meet(dials/mins, new accounts, gm, par). Opportunity to meet with manufacturers reps.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations for dials/minutes and growth goals which do not take into consideration economy or leads and ups and downs of the job and clients) Non-comprehensive training Some managers make meeting goals and expecations more difficult than they need to be..arbitrarily declaring some accounts new and others not. High turn over. Quick Burn out for some people. Poor leads Accounts aren't manged. You may have one accoutn with several ship toos and several persons responsible and internal fighting over who gets credit or blame

Pros

Steady work with consistent OT. Pay is average. They employ a minimal number of drivers (and equipment) so you will definitely get your hours. If someone leaves, takes PTO, or a truck goes down, it gets spread across the remaining drivers.

Cons

Benefits are average at best. Most drivers are expected to work holidays. PTO is approved on seniority basis so don’t plan on being home with family during these times. No shortage of micromanagement. Definitely feel like a line item on a spreadsheet somewhere and not a human.
