Pros

Lots of nice, friendly co-workers (in the "trenches" with you.) Actually very helpful medical treatment (fun fact: a woman that never gets much recognition invented this specific treatment.)

Cons

Here is a list of some of the red flags I'd advise to consider: RED FLAG #1: all the relatives/connections to upper management in roles throughout the company (who get away with egregious HR violations.) Naturally, insecure, incompetent nepo babies and college buddies don't make for a successfully ran business. This leads to employees that did not get their positions through connections to be stuck cleaning up messes they didn't make and doing work they don't get proper credit for. Burn out is rampant here. RED FLAG #2: They pressure employees to sing their praises, and punish those who give constructive criticism. RED FLAG #3: They push unhealthy work/life expectations (of those not in the nepo/connected group.) Airrosti pressures employees to leave good reviews and vote as a "great place to work" every chance they get, but unless you are connected to the right people, you will be used up and spit out. (I'm sure they'll either directly or indirectly pressure employees to run and post positive reviews after this honest one to try and counter.) They are sanctimonious and retaliate on anyone that questions their motives or points out errors. They tell employees that they want honest feedback, but it's a trap! RED FLAG #4: They are dishonest about who they place in positions of leadership, omitting including SOME department heads from their website. RED FLAG #5: They dismiss an entire religion. They call their employees "Airrostifarians," a play on "Rastafarian." A quick google search will tell you that Rasta is A RELION BORN OF OPPRESSION AND SLAVERY. What makes this worse is that this has been addressed and advised to change multiple times by employees concerned with this practice. Upper management was not concerned with learning better and doing better, rather dug in their heels. They finally agreed to only use the term internally (as to avoid a potential PR issue), but they do not do a great job of keeping it out of public facing places (one example is its use in the front office of their headquarters.) In summary: They are not what they proclaim to be. Unless you got offered an overpaid role that you are under qualified for here due to some connection, don't walk, RUN!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we’re disappointed to hear that your time at Airrosti did not reflect the culture we strive to build, we appreciate your willingness to provide such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you had positive interactions with your co-workers and found value in the care we provide. At the same time, the concerns you raised are serious and we want to address them directly: On perceived favoritism: We understand that perceptions of how opportunities or recognition are distributed can strongly influence an employee’s experience, and we take allegations of favoritism seriously. Our intention is to maintain fair, merit-based processes for hiring, leadership selection, and performance management. We continue to review our practices to support clarity, consistency, and trust across all teams. On requesting feedback: We want employees to feel comfortable sharing input, including constructive feedback. Creating an environment where open communication is encouraged and respected remains an ongoing priority. Although we feel Airrosti has long done an excellent job of this, using a variety of direct and anonymous feedback mechanisms, we’re continually working to strengthen how we listen, respond, and close the loop so employees know their voices matter. On work/life balance: Employee well-being has always been and continues to be important to us and we are continually evaluating ways to support work-life balance, communication, and healthy overall employee experience. We do ask for participation in engagement surveys and reviews to see how we can improve in this area, but this is intended to give every employee a voice—not to pressure anyone to provide a specific sentiment. On cultural sensitivity: Regarding the reference to our employees as Airrostifarians, it appears you may have over-interpreted its meaning. It is simply a lighthearted nickname built off our name Airrosti and was never intended to reference or comment on a religion or cultural group. On leadership transparency: We are consistently working to improve clarity around roles, responsibilities, and organizational structure so employees understand leadership across teams. We appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts. If you are open to it, we’d love a chance to continue the conversation and hear more about your experience. You can reach us at HR@Airrosti.com.

Pros

Airrosti provides a great opportunity to work in a healthcare setting while gaining valuable experience in patient care, communication, and rehabilitation. The team environment is supportive, and it is rewarding to see patients make progress. The role allows you to build skills that are valuable for anyone interested in sports medicine or healthcare.”

Cons

The fast-paced environment can occasionally lead to increased workload and the need to prioritize competing demands. The workload can fluctuate depending on patient volume, staffing, and clinic needs.

Pros

I’ve been with Airrosti for nearly 12 years, starting as an admin and growing into a career I genuinely find fulfilling. I’ve had the opportunity to work with great people and be part of a mission that truly focuses on helping others. What stands out most is the company’s commitment to both patients and employees. I’ve seen many examples of leadership making meaningful efforts to improve patient outcomes while also going above and beyond to do what's right for their employees. There’s a clear emphasis on building strong treatment teams and ensuring they have the support they need to deliver quality patient care.

Cons

Like any organization, it’s not perfect, but overall, it’s been a rewarding place to grow professionally and contribute to something meaningful.
