Pros
Obviously, Airspace is on a great business trajectory. It has a solid core product, combined with the startup mentality to keep making improvements and new disruptive ideas.
As a culture, the leadership actually does try to embody their ideas of culture and transparency, past just the normal lip service. Through a pandemic and lay offs, the leadership team maintained transparency, took significant pay cuts themselves, and has restored lost income to employees. When calls for social change and justice came following the murder of George Floyd, they made an honest effort to let Airspace's BIPOC colleagues lead the conversation. There's still more to be done, especially on inclusiveness, but they are willing to work with employees to do so.
Cons
There are definite growing pains working in a startup, especially on the tech side. There's a lot of technical debt that doesn't always get prioritized, and it can feel inhibiting. Work can be very siloed, but there are plans to pivot the structure.
