Pros

Met some life-long friends and gained some valuable experience.

Cons

While some decisions were great, a lot of poor decision-making at almost every level of the business. Company laid-off over 100 employees within 1 year. Office morale felt quite low, socialization seemed to be quite fragmented. A lot of remote employees with few people in-office. Work-from-home policy was unfair and management seemed to not care. Company eliminated a lot of eye-catching benefits such as Unlimited PTO, weekly catered lunches, reimbursements for eligible services. Executives believed recruiting was a tax to the business rather than a valuable tool to help drive the business forward. Internal promotion was quite disappointing as well. Many past employees either left because they found a better opportunity or used this company as a stepping stone. Genuinely don't believe this company can offer a life-long career for many.

Pros

- The company's transparency is excellent, frequent all hands meetings, regular slack updates with all the numbers of how things are going, access to execs if you ever needed anything. - Good benefits (not the best I ever had, but very respectable) - The people and company are very causal. Ive never had to worry about politics here which is great. - Good work life balance. Unlimited PTO has never been restrictive to me. Plenty of holidays. No insane deadlines for working late.

Cons

like everywhere, there has been layoffs in the last couple of years. Culture has shifted to be a bit quieter as a result.

Pros

Nick Bulcao is amazing. He really has a great vision. Amazing team in Operations who tries their best despite the ridiculous metrics they have to meet, many great friendships formed. Overtime is provided but if you’re one of the only ones that takes it, you will get taken advantage of and find yourself with a very unhealthy work/life balance.

Cons

Upper upper management in operations once above the “manager” level is awful. A few in particular. They push and push for more but don’t want to listen to feedback or their leadership team that works on the frontlines suggestions and advice. They don’t talk respectfully to the ones under them and then expect the team to break their backs. Constant changes of supervisors and managers and processes so don’t get used to anything.
