Pros

Airspace hires great people. I enjoy everyone I work with and learn a lot from different teams in my day-to-day. Smaller teams mean more responsibility and ability to have more of a voice. All Hands meetings are nice to get consistent company updates where team members can submit anonymous feedback/questions to be addressed. Unlimited PTO is the only good thing left, and people do encourage the work/life balance which is good.

Cons

Lots of company, department, and team restructuring all the time, due to lots of priority changes in business/goals. Can be hard to keep up with or find rhythm in processes. Lots of projects that get paused or stopped halfway through. Many layoffs in past few years have taken a huge hit on morale. Company doesnt seem to do much to try to retain the top workers who have stuck around. As a remote employee, not much culture as all the "fun" events are in the offices. Many benefits have been taken away due to budgetting.

Pros

- The company's transparency is excellent, frequent all hands meetings, regular slack updates with all the numbers of how things are going, access to execs if you ever needed anything. - Good benefits (not the best I ever had, but very respectable) - The people and company are very causal. Ive never had to worry about politics here which is great. - Good work life balance. Unlimited PTO has never been restrictive to me. Plenty of holidays. No insane deadlines for working late.

Cons

like everywhere, there has been layoffs in the last couple of years. Culture has shifted to be a bit quieter as a result.

Pros

Nick Bulcao is amazing. He really has a great vision. Amazing team in Operations who tries their best despite the ridiculous metrics they have to meet, many great friendships formed. Overtime is provided but if you’re one of the only ones that takes it, you will get taken advantage of and find yourself with a very unhealthy work/life balance.

Cons

Upper upper management in operations once above the “manager” level is awful. A few in particular. They push and push for more but don’t want to listen to feedback or their leadership team that works on the frontlines suggestions and advice. They don’t talk respectfully to the ones under them and then expect the team to break their backs. Constant changes of supervisors and managers and processes so don’t get used to anything.
