      Pros

      Great work like balance - unlimited vacation, flexible schedule and wfh opportunities. Self starter environment. Fun.

      Cons

      Difficult to move within Akamai - promotions tend to be political but also performance based. At least in Sales, people stick around for a long time, so there is not a lot of growth opportunity.

      Akamai is still learning to grow into the enterprise-level organization it strives to be. There are no major cons to share in effort to discourage someone from applying, but like most jobs, few are perfect.
