I got the opportunity to meet some extremely smart, well-kept coworkers during my time at Akerna.

Cons

Unfortunately, these brilliant minds were mostly ignored when it came to decision making. My entire team was laid off, and now Akerna appears to be a penny stock.

Pros

Communication, mentorship, and a great team are all great aspects about working here. Personally, my favorite thing is the flexibility- I really appreciate knowing that I can take a midday appointment or pick up my kid from school when I need to. The unlimited PTO is also a huge plus.

Cons

It’s a quickly growing company, so naturally that comes with some growing pains. But on the same note, leadership has really put in the work to make sure things go smoother with each “growth spurt” we have.
