Pros

Good environment to work in, military base, and great pay for non high school level employees. Wonderful oppertunities to advance and gain addional skills. Very good work schedule, average schedule is 7:30 AM - 4PM.

Cons

Managment is horrible. The same group of managers have been running the project even with the change of contracts,in at least 20 years. This location of Akima practices a very unethical and impractical form of nepotism that has violated several employee's rights and with many unjustly loosing thier jobs. With so many family and personal friend relations minepulating the system , it is impossion to hold them accoutable for unethical behavior. Management at the Ft. Gordon location is extremly corruted.

The pay is pretty good.

Cons

Didn’t really seem to have much opportunity for growth.

Pros

Hard to say any if at all. I get a paycheck (that took months to be paid correctly)

Cons

No wage increase despite others making way over SCA limits, no adjustments for cost of living, same people recognized for doing bare minimum, insurance premiums are insane, no allowance for unpaid leave, PM totally unaware of what even happens on the contract, no one in upper management takes accountability for mistakes and contractors are blamed, many inadequate hires made just to have a warm body
