Pros

Flight benefits are good. The non-IT leadership is great.

Cons

Beware working in information security at this company. Nearly a 100% turnover in the information security team in the last 6 months - either through resignation or termination. IT divisional leadership (CIO) much more interested in the shiny toys and costly ideas offered by the usual big box vendors than what was being developed by the seasoned professionals that had been hired in the previous two years to build a program there. It may be better now that this CIO has left to advance his own career but he left a devastated program in his wake. Currently being managed by a non-InfoSec professional.

Pros

The travel benefits are excellent, and the job offers opportunities to meet people from all over the world. My coworkers were supportive, teamwork was strong, and no two days were ever the same. The role helped me build confidence, improve customer service skills, and learn how to stay calm under pressure.

Cons

The schedule can be unpredictable, with long duty days, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays away from family. The job can also be physically demanding, and dealing with difficult passengers can be stressful.
