Pros

Upper management tries really hard to listen to and care about their employees; they're mostly successful. I'm very pleased with how inclusive of a work environment it is at headquarters; everyone has a voice and suggestions are welcome, listened to and even integrated into the culture and work flow. I can honestly say that I have no desire to go work elsewhere given how mostly satisfied I am working for Alaska Airlines.

Cons

Pay is rather low and keeps us from attracting some great talent. There's a great deal of attention lately to improving the cosmetics of the company's operation instead of the systems beneath the surface that power the life of this airline; we need a stronger infrastructure for all divisions to keep things running as efficiently as possible.

Pros

The travel benefits are excellent, and the job offers opportunities to meet people from all over the world. My coworkers were supportive, teamwork was strong, and no two days were ever the same. The role helped me build confidence, improve customer service skills, and learn how to stay calm under pressure.

Cons

The schedule can be unpredictable, with long duty days, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays away from family. The job can also be physically demanding, and dealing with difficult passengers can be stressful.
