Pros

Flexible Schedule via shift trading, Working from home, Flight Benefits, Great overall benefit packages.

Cons

If you have previous airline experience, the first thing you will notice is how Alaska tries super hard to act like a big airline, but just doesn't get it. Policy is a free-for-all and open to interpretation, We are using archaic (think 1993) technology, very little support from management or your "lead" agents, there is zero overtime (Despite it being a selling point at the interview), Zero opportunities for advancement (Unless you're willing to relocate to Seattle), You live and die by your stats, not your level of customer service.

Pros

The travel benefits are excellent, and the job offers opportunities to meet people from all over the world. My coworkers were supportive, teamwork was strong, and no two days were ever the same. The role helped me build confidence, improve customer service skills, and learn how to stay calm under pressure.

Cons

The schedule can be unpredictable, with long duty days, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays away from family. The job can also be physically demanding, and dealing with difficult passengers can be stressful.
