Pros

Coworkers, happy passengers, yearly bonus based on your yearly pay and hours worked, quarterly bonus based on company wide goals met, flight benefits

Cons

Stress, being yelled at by passengers, being blamed for flight cancellations, for weather affecting flights, for volcanoes affecting flights, being screamed at for baggage delays, being threatened, being told you’re ruining Christmas/weddings/birthdays/holidays, pushing wheelchairs with 100’s of pounds in them up jetbridges, having to lift people who are dead weight out of their seat into an aisle chair and then again into a wheelchair. Back breaking and not in the job description.

Pros

The travel benefits are excellent, and the job offers opportunities to meet people from all over the world. My coworkers were supportive, teamwork was strong, and no two days were ever the same. The role helped me build confidence, improve customer service skills, and learn how to stay calm under pressure.

Cons

The schedule can be unpredictable, with long duty days, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays away from family. The job can also be physically demanding, and dealing with difficult passengers can be stressful.
