Pros

Nice helpful coworkers. Trainers and Coaches are knowledgeable and patient. Good Health & Dental insurance. Free standby travel on Alaska after six months, If by a slim chance there is an available seat open. Low cost fares on other carriers.

Cons

Do Not Work in the PHX base! They will work you like a dog! 10 1/2 hour shifts with one 30 min lunch, If you have the chance to even get a lunch break. They micromanage you to death! There is too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. There is a main manager, Two managers below her, Shift managers, Trainers, Coaches etc.... They watch you like a hawk and criticize your every move. The lower shift leads are very hateful and will try to get you terminated, every chance they get they run to the main managers and tell lies about you. It feels like mean girls in high school all over again! They get a lot of complaints against certain shift leads and nothing gets done about them. They do not care about your well being. Believe me its not worth the hassle to make $19 an hour.

Pros

The travel benefits are excellent, and the job offers opportunities to meet people from all over the world. My coworkers were supportive, teamwork was strong, and no two days were ever the same. The role helped me build confidence, improve customer service skills, and learn how to stay calm under pressure.

Cons

The schedule can be unpredictable, with long duty days, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays away from family. The job can also be physically demanding, and dealing with difficult passengers can be stressful.
