      Absolutely beautiful and such a fun, close-knit team to work for!

      Cons

      Its a pro and a con, but the lodge really is out in the middle of nowhere. Great for the outdoorsy types, but a flip for those from the big cities.

      Pros

      Beautiful and unique work setting aboard domed railcars in Alaska's wilderness. Substantial tips for FoH employees. Company often promotes from within. Free cruise at the end of seasonal contract. Because a normal shift is 10+ hours, accrue overtime pay quickly. Very friendly company, you will not struggle to make connections. Excellent networking for other seasonal opportunities.

      Cons

      Long shifts and overnight travel required every shift. Housing NOT provided in Anchorage. Strict uniform policy. Communication frequently impeded by remoteness of travel, flexibility a must.
