      Pros

      Loved the friends from all over you get to meet, the teamwork from our group was amazing, great views.

      Cons

      Terrible communication, nothing was ready, got yelled at constantly for things not being finished (which were not our fault), little training, safety was not number one, living conditions felt like a jail.

      Pros

      Beautiful and unique work setting aboard domed railcars in Alaska's wilderness. Substantial tips for FoH employees. Company often promotes from within. Free cruise at the end of seasonal contract. Because a normal shift is 10+ hours, accrue overtime pay quickly. Very friendly company, you will not struggle to make connections. Excellent networking for other seasonal opportunities.

      Cons

      Long shifts and overnight travel required every shift. Housing NOT provided in Anchorage. Strict uniform policy. Communication frequently impeded by remoteness of travel, flexibility a must.
