I made some great friends and absolutely loved the crew members I worked with. The food on my boat was great (although do not always expect this). Little to no expenses.

Cons

The management wasn't very nice and could be downright rude.

-amazing field experience -travel -meet a wide variety of people -can take substantial time off between contracts -create a professional network of biologists and people in the fishing industry

Cons

-management is disorganized, rude, and unprofessional -pay is low for actual hours worked -communication from management is unprofessional and last minute -benefits are better than none, but not great -no opportunities for growth
