Pros
At the distribution center there were monthly incentives of $100 based on good attendence. Vacation time stacked up yearly. Decent raises annually. Frequent overtime. Mgt was attentive and effective.
Cons
Odd shifts and a glass ceiling on pay unless you went into mgt position. Work was very physical. I realized lifting 50 to 90lb. Cases continuously wouldn't be possible beyond my youth. Left in 2001 to pursue another career.
