Residents are family orientated and enjoyable to be around, yet if the residents do not like you, upper management will not back the staff up and defend.
Cons
Lack of communication from upper management. Staff with 5 or more years of work get little to no respect from upper management. Younger staff are heard more. I even seen an incident where a new staff member set up an older staff member to get fired. Upper management went ahead and believed the new staff member and fired the staff member who was there for over 10 years. That new staff member proceeded to take over a man agent position.
