Too many challenges to name them all, but here goes. Constant blame game by management Management flat out tells you to ignore customer requests (especially with schedules), because "they're not the ones writing your paycheck". Constant fear of termination No recognition (unless you count that one time we got ice cream) No semblance of organization Verbal abuse from some senior "leadership". I got a call from another "leader" on my work phone one time where she wanted to gossip about another leader who had sent me a nasty email. Leaders have it out for each other and will pit the lowly folk in the middle. If you speak to HR, they blame YOU and pass the buck when interviewing by saying "it's disgruntled employees, we're not like that" (I was salaried, so dont let HR blame the hourly people) Antiquated systems Use post-it notes for scheduling rather than an actual system Wasteful of material Poor benefits package No regard for work/life balance
