Pros
Until recently I was one of the employees who was considering leaving. When I first got hired onto Alcami I was excited about the work we were doing and loved the environment they’d created here. But then people got hired on who changed everything and made the environment feel toxic and unwelcoming. It was the exact opposite from when I started. So I started applying elsewhere. But then, senior management cracked down on everything that had been happening and, after they got rid of those people who were ruining it for the rest of us, it was like everything just went back to exactly how it was before. I couldn’t even begin to explain it. It was just like night and day practically overnight. Anyways, I wanted to jump on here and provide an update to anyone considering applying. Things are better now, and whereas I wouldn’t have recommend it before those people got let go, now I have no problem recommending it to anyone and everyone – I’d even recommend it to my closest friends and family.
Cons
I’ll tell it to you straight, if nothing had changed, I wouldn’t still be here right now. But the Alcami I got hired into was so wonderful, that it’s worth sticking around for since it seems they’ve gotten things back to where we were. It’s a good company. They made some hiring mistakes and it affected everyone, but I’m glad they’re willing to go back and correct their mistakes.
