Pros

Salary and roster both good

Cons

Bullying and intimidating behaviour from Power Station Superintendent (at Kwinana site) and 3 site power station manager. No communication, regular threats and operators treated without any respect for their knowledge. Do not live or behave with the Alcoa values, although state they do. Many examples of preferential treatment of female workers who are not able to execute the manual work required to do the job. Bullying and intimidation is driving mental health issues and they don’t care and refuse to acknowledge is created through the work environment. Toxic place with toxic management.

Pros

Ability to work 100% remote.

Cons

ITAS OTC Manager has no clue how to manage, encourage development, or plan growth. He was too busy trying to keep his skills up and not actually cultivate newcomers and manage well. I felt alone and not supported by my manager. The environment is not great for newcomers to the company. The team supposedly has so much work, but was able to lay me off after returning to work from health event. Complete and utter joke. They do not honor their core values. Beware of this place.
