My experience with the recruiting team was disappointing, largely due to the leadership style of the Recruiting Lead based out of FL. Despite lacking the necessary qualifications and experience to lead a team effectively, she made sweeping changes, including letting go of many team members without clear rationale. The environment quickly became one where self-preservation and excessive ego-stroking were necessary for survival, rather than performance, collaboration, or integrity. Constructive feedback was not welcomed, and career development was not a priority—unless it aligned with her personal advancement. This led to a culture of fear, micromanagement, and instability. I hope future leadership prioritizes empathy, transparency, and true team support.
