Do not trust management. They are out for themselves only. HR will do anything to help certain management get what they want, including sweep things under the rug. Comments were made that a female would be better at her job if she was married with kids because that provides life experience. Reported to HR and nothing came of it. Employee who made comments was promptly promoted. Its a mans world in Houston. HR is probably too busy gossiping to address actual issues. Advice, do not accept a technical role here if you are a woman. Read bonus agreement carefully. Have to not just meet, but exceed every category to get the full percentage. Know that if your bonus is X, you will likely only receive half of that.
