Pros
As the headline foreshadows, I generally have viewed working relationships as mostly transactional and likely to disappoint. However, I have felt revitalized at Alignment. My fellow employees, including senior leadership, genuinely care about the members and employees. Senior leadership believes that we will be successful are very supportive. When I approach my colleagues with problems or if I don't know the answer, everyone tries to help. I also have been encouraged and supported to build new approaches or areas which is a great opportunity to make an impact on members and the organization.
Cons
As a growing company, it's at the point of needing to build infrastructure to support growth. Areas that could operate in siloes now have to work across the organization and there are associated growing pains.
